March 28 - April 2, Green Lab B

Accomplished this week:


Lab

  • Delegated poster and user manual responsibilities
    • Poster is to be done by group B2, in exchange for not having to work on the user manual, which will be completed by the rest of the lab


B1

  • Finished questions for the video game.
  • Placed questions into a format that can be integrated into the video game.
  • Created all the rooms for our level


B2

  • Programming
  • Backgrounds
  • Extra sprites made
  • Small touchups


B3

  • Game is beginning to develop, integrated more detailed design


B4

  • Finished our portion of the program
  • Created a section of lessons and questions
  • Found all of our sprites


B5

  • Finalized questions to test the users’ math abilities
  • Almost completed the video game
    • Added most of the tutorial
    • Created the questions’ layout and decided to use a multiple choice quiz
    • Incorporated the story line into the tutorial and questions to keep it interesting for the user


B6

  • Finished teachable math package for 5/7 concepts
  • Finished programming for 4 teachable math package

Lab

  • Integrate all the game levels into one complete game
  • Do any extra programming required for smooth running of game
  • Begin testing the game
  • Poster and user manual should be finished/presentable

  • Finish our level of the video game by monday.
  • Test and fine tune our game.
  • Integrate our level with the other groups.
  • Work on the final report

  • Finish teachable math packages
  • Finish remaining programming for teachable math packages
  • Polish game (Backgrounds, embellishments, better sprites)
  • Polish story; fill plot holes, make story more engaging
